You know, I think you’re right! I think he thinks they kept Syvret because they’re trying to determine weather he [Syvret,] or Tollefsen is going to be the 7th defensmen. I honestly believe he thinks he’s “untouchable,” when the only “untouchables” are Richards, Carter, Giroux, Pronger, Timonen, & POSSIBLY (with as well as he’s played thus far) JvR – that still remains to be seen for an entire season, but thus far I have to think if he continues playing this way, he’d be considered an untouchable WAYYY before Jones! Heck, PARENT would be considered untouchable in many’s eye BEFORE Jones!

Okay, done ranting. I’ll just keep hoping he’s gone before the game in Carolina next week, but I refuse to get my hopes too high.

Even though he was paired with Coburn, the number of mistakes he makes is too many and they’re obvious. I don’t think he realizes that there’s a reason Danny Syvret wasn’t sent to the Phantoms with the other cuts.

The only thing I have to add is Jones has to go! I knew it was only a matter of time before the real Randy Jones shined through. I saw at least 5 mistakes by him tonight, that could have been costly! Lucky for him, Emery was ready, but he seriously drives me CRAZY! You don’t leave the puck at center ice, where NONE of your teammates are, & watch a Devil skate toward it (that was the biggest, stupidest mistake I saw tonight.) Absolutely crazy!

As I said before, though, because I want him gone, & it would make me happy, it won’t happen! It’s just a trend I’ve noticed with me!
