I’ve never written a post dedicated to Peter Laviolette. I’ve praised him multiple times for various decisions he’s made. Of course, I’ve loved his use of timeouts, including the amazing one against Boston in Game 7. But other than mentioning his brilliance in posts dedicated to specific games, I have not focused on him too much. And for a guy that already won a Stanley Cup with a big underdog in Carolina, he has been fairly under the radar until the playoffs. Of course he’s getting his fair share of coverage now, and it’s all well-deserved.
Fanhouse has a great post dedicated to Lavy, titled ” ‘Canes Bad Move Now Philly’s Best One“.
The writer is none other than Anthony Gargano. For those who don’t know, he’s a local radio host for Philly’s most popular sports talk radio station, 610 WIP. Along with co-host Glen Macnow, he’s on middays from 10AM-3PM. And personally, he’s one of my 3 favorite guys on the radio. I dig his hometown bias, genuine sports passion, and youthful exuberance. Check out his post, it’s a fun read with some interesting information and opinions.
