Today we will find out the extent of Chris Pronger’s foot injury. He will see a foot specialist Friday Morning to determine the extent of a reported broken toe. Pronger blocked a shot in the Montreal Canadiens game on Wednesday and didn’t return for the third period. Pronger fans will be anxiously awaiting the results. This could be a devastating loss for the Flyers, one that will be felt on the ice and in the locker room. Pronger missed a few games at the beginning of the season after knee surgery over the summer but to lose him now would be a huge loss. Pronger is a +6 with 4 goals and 11 assists and a critical player on the already struggling power play. Oskars Bartulis will be called up to replace Pronger on the blue line likely for Saturday’s game against the New York Rangers.
