Target: Stamkos

The next franchise player? (Courtesy: thehockeyguys.net)

The Flyers just traded our franchise cornerstones and now they have a ton of cap space. They could do nothing, or they could go for a major free agent. At first, they denied that they were interested in Steven Stamkos. But yesterday, Frank Seravalli said otherwise. And by some pure luck, I had a friend in South Beach come across some more interesting news.  He was walking down Ocean Drive, and accidentally bumped into the mailman.  A few letters went flying in the air, and popped out of their envelopes. This friend noticed one interesting letter in particular, which he grabbed, scanned and emailed to me.

Don’t worry. My friend is not dumb enough to screw the Flyers. He made sure to drop off this letter after sending it to me. He may or may not have thrown out a few similar looking pieces of mail during this entire process as well. Let’s hope this works out!
