Flyers @ Bruins = Pain

One of the things we love about hockey of course is the hitting. Every game is physical, every confrontation is physical. It’s the nature of the beast. But some games are more intense than others. This figures to be one of those games.  There’s a ton of motivating factors that are sure to cause one hell of an explosion tonight.

Factors motivating the Bruins:

  • They get to raise their banner
  • Home opener
  • Almost same team as last season
  • Long time rivals
  • Defending the crown

Factors motivating the Flyers:

  • Season opener
  • Tough road opponent
  • A chance to beat last years champs in their building
  • New players proving their worth
  • Long time rivals

Once you bring all that together, along with various other personal agenda’s, we’re in for one heck of a game. It’s going to be fun seeing what the line combo’s look like, how long they stay together, as well as a million other things. The most important thing is for this team to come together as quickly as possible and just get used to playing with one another. The faster they get all of that down, the better of they’ll be to play the system. This team has been billed as younger, bigger and faster. The one thing that everyone is wondering and worrying about, is whether or not they are better. Tonight, we have our first opportunity to find out. Let’s go Flyers!
