Vorachek=assists – In the first meeting against his former team, Jakub Vorachek had a three point night that was overshadowed by the bigger picture of a 9-2 drubbing of the Blue Jackets. Well since that game Vorachek has kept his name on the scoring sheet and it is time to recognize that yet another piece of the off season puzzle is starting to fit.

In the last four games number 93 has had 7 points, but has only found the goal one time. He has stated that he wants to score a little bit more, but the pass first mentality has clearly paid its dividends.

Looking ahead

The Flyers will play Bryz’s former team the Coyotes of Phoenix at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Wells Fargo Center. Then they get their first look at the MTS Centre when they take on the Jets on Saturday at 3 p.m.
