I’ve just been awoken for quite possibly the biggest news I’ve heard in a long time.

According to TSN’s Darren Dreger (@DarrenDreger) and other sources, Shea Weber has agreed to an offer sheet with the Philadelphia Flyers.

The offer sheet is believed to be 14 years, and upwards of $100 million.

The Nashville Predators have 7 days to match. If the Predators do not match, the Flyers will likely compensate the Predators four first round draft picks. Possibly two first rounders, a second, and a third.

Nobody saw this coming. Offer sheets are very uncommon.

Paul Holmgren is doing WORK.
