One day after visiting the New York Rangers, Phoenix Coyotes Winger Shane Doan stopped in Philadelphia today to visit with Ed Snider and Paul Holmgren.
CSN’s Lisa Hillary caught up with Doan’s agent Terry Bross, and he said:
Shane very much enjoyed the visit, we are still waiting to see if ownership gets resolved in Arizona but wanted to visit.
Bross also went on to call the Flyers a “first class organization”.
In 79 games, Doan scored 22 goals along with 28 assists. After spending 16 seasons with Phoenix, the 35 year old would love to stay in Arizona, but seems as though he wants to keep his options open, as do the Flyers. With $110 million tied in Shea Weber currently, the Flyers have no cap space for Doan but certainly want to express their interest in him.
