There have been a lot of Canadian Hockey League games broadcasting on NHL Network to help alleviate lockout depression for fans. That’s great and all but if you’re an American hockey fan what are you supposed to do if you aren’t familiar with the Canadian minor league teams? Or have no idea who to root for? And what if you’re a Flyers fan that can’t make a long drive to see the AHL affiliate play? Well the Adirondack Phantoms and CSN are trying to solve that problem.
According to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms facebook and twitter (the name the team will take in two years, yes they already have social media sites set up), Comcast Sports net will be airing five of the Phantoms games. Which will be great for fans so they can actually see what Sean Couturier, Brayden Schenn, Zac Rinaldo have been up to. As well as keep up with key prospects like Brandon Manning, Danny Syrvet, Oliver Lauridsen, to only name a few.
According to ads on CSN schedule listing the below dates are accurate. Keep in mind Flyers fans that you can also watch the Phantoms live stream on their website or listen to it via their radio option. But watching some of the Flyers rookies on your tv might do the game better justice.
Adirondack Phantoms CSN Schedule:
- Dec. 15th @ 7 pm vs the Manchester Monarchs
- Dec. 22nd @ 7 pm vs the Bridgeport Sound Tigers
- Jan. 4th @ 7 pm vs the Connecticut Whale
- Jan. 12th @7 pm vs the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins
- Feb. 22nd @ 7 pm vs the Wikes-Barre Scranton Penguins
The Feb. 22nd game is especially important as it will be played at the Wells Fargo Center.
