Phantoms take Sharks

After an upset at the hands of the Albany Devils, the Phantoms managed a 2-1 road win against the Worcester Sharks on Saturday.

Cullen Eddy scored the first goal of the game, giving the Phantoms the early lead.

Then two separate fights occurred. The first one was around the 8th minute between Ian Slater and Matt Pelech. The second occurred a few minutes later between Eddy and Bracken Kearns.

Despite the fighting, the Sharks were able to tie the game up a few minutes later with a goal from Brodie Reid.

Pelech was involved in another fight in the beginning of the second period, this time with Zack FitzGerald.

After the halfway point, Tye McGinn scored to increase the Phantoms lead. It was all the team needed to log a win, as neither team scored again in the game.

The Phantoms gained the much needed win to increase their struggling record this season.
