So far the 2013-2014 season has not gone as planned for the Philadelphia Flyers. The Flyers started 1-7 and fired their coach three games into the season. They continued to play poorly and got embarrassed by the Washington Capitals on their home ice by a score of 7-0. More recently they have lost two straight games on a road trip to the state of Florida and are still yet to have better than a .500 record this season. Despite the early season struggles and the more recent hardships, there are a few things that Flyers fans can be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
