It’s an axiom as old as hockey. Turnovers will come back to haunt you, and this play was no different.
Two Kings converge on Streit and strip him of the puck. Scott Hartnell comes to support the puck on the boards, but loses the battle. This results in a scoring chance that never should have happened. First, because the Flyers need to win that battle. Second, there should be no excuse to allow the Kings to get that close to the net uncontested.
