After clawing their way into the playoffs, the Philadelphia Flyers have three games left in the regular season. If they want to make a deep playoff run, they will need to make adjustments.

The orange and black were lucky to come away with a 5-2 win against the Florida Panthers. Their efforts during the first and third periods were pathetic. If they had played the Boston Bruins or Chicago Blackhawks, they would have been blown out by three goals. Luckily, Steve Mason was on his game, making 38 saves.

Regardless of the effort, the Flyers are back in the playoffs, where it has been proven that any team can make a run deep into May and June.

I want to revisit a goal from each team during Tuesday night’s contest. Both of these goals stood out for various reasons in terms of what the Flyers did well and what they need to do to improve.
