NHL Draft Tickets Available To Public Friday

Want to boo Gary Bettman, Ray Shero, and the rest of the National Hockey League teams not named the Philadelphia Flyers?

Well, here’s your chance. Starting Friday, May 30 at 1 p.m., tickets will be available to the general public. Tickets are limited, as most of the seating is reserved for those hopeful prospects and their families, as well as season ticket holders.

The first round of the draft will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 27 from the Wells Fargo Center. The rest of the draft, which will entail rounds 2-7, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 28.

Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis by going to PhiladelphiaFlyers.com/NHLDraft. Even better? Tickets are free. So that is pretty cool.

Pennsylvania hosts it’s second draft in three years. Pittsburgh hosted the 2011 edition of the NHL Draft. New Jersey held last year’s event. This is the first time the NHL Draft will come to Philadelphia.

Not to be out done, because Xfinity Live! does literally every event ever, a Fan Fest will be held throughout the weekend with activities for all ages. Like the draft, this is also free.

The Flyers will pick 17th in this year’s draft. Last year, the Flyers selected defenseman Sam Morin with their first round pick.
