"4th in Calder Voting 9th in Hart Voting"

The Big E had a great rookie season in his first year with the Flyers. It would be a great foundation for him to go off of, as only two years later he would win both the Hart(MVP to a team) and Pearson/Lindsay(MVP of league decided by Players Association) awards. Lindros, who centered the Legion of Doom with Mikael Renberg and John LeClair, would turn out to be the force everyone hoped he could be.
