Early Injury Reports Positive for Giroux
The Flyers had a major scare last night, as Giroux left the game late after hitting his head hard on the boards. He even appeared to briefly lose consciousness.

Fortunately the early word on Giroux’s status is positive. Sam Carchidi has reported on Twitter that Giroux is expected to be back in action for Monday’s game.

Playoff Chase Update
After yesterday’s busy schedule, the Flyers still hold onto the final playoff spot in East. They are tied with the Detroit Red Wings, but maintain a game in hand. The Flyers are 4 points behind the New York Islanders for the seventh playoff position, which would avoid a first round matchup with the Washington Capitals.
Sanheim Leads Calgary in WHL Playoffs
Travis Sanheim had a strong game last night, scoring a goal and added two assists in a win for the Calgary Hitmen. With the win, Calgary ties the playoff series 1-1.

Lindblom Joins Phantoms
Oskar Lindblom will join the Phantoms in the AHL for the rest of the season. Lindblom was a 5th round draft pick of the Flyers in 2014, and turned a lot of heads in the 2015 World Junior Championships by scoring 4 goals and 9 points in 7 games.
