The Philadelphia Flyers signed defenseman TJ Brennan, a New Jersey native, to a contract. Brennan is likely to play in AHL
The Philadelphia Flyers announced this afternoon that they had agreed to a contract with defenseman TJ Brennan. Brennan is a native to New Jersey, from Willingboro.
Brennan is a 27-year old offensive, skating defenseman. He has become a standout at the AHL level, racking up 68 points in 69 games last season. Despite this AHL success, he has seen very limited NHL action, playing only 53 games over 4 seasons.
This the 4th significant signing Hextall has made to bolster the Phantoms roster. Hextall previously signed Andy Miele, Greg Carey, and Will O’Neill, whom are all standout AHL players.
Brennan’s deal is a multi-year, two-way deal with an NHL salary of $625,000. We’ll have more coverage of Brennan and his possible impact on the lineups for both the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and Philadelphia Flyers.
