Philadelphia Flyers Vs New York Islanders
The Philadelphia Flyers are winning again. Winners of three of their last four games, the club seems to be in a groove. The only game they lost in that span was a 1 to 0 decision to the playoff-bound Columbus Blue Jackets a strong team.
The Islanders and Flyers will meet for the fourth and final time in this 2016/17 season. The Flyers have taken two of three meetings this season, and would like nothing more than to make it three of four by winning the next meeting.

It’s been a disappointing season for the orange and black, there’s no denying this fact. The Flyers seem to have found some late season positives in their three best rookies and star players.
Jordan Weal has been scoring at a rate of 0.44 points per game since his call up. If he were to play all 82 games, and continue scoring at this pace, he would have 36 points on the season, which would place him 5th on the club.
Shayne Gostisbehere looks to be returning to his impressive form alongside Claude Giroux. Ghost has scored three points in his last two games, and Giroux has scored 11 points in 12 games. Travis Konecny and Ivan Provorov continue to grow, and don’t look out of place in the Flyers lineup.
