Teams will be working to improve their rosters for the short or long term, whether they’re fighting for a playoff spot or rebuilding for the future. The Philadelphia Flyers and General Manager Chuck Fletcher are in a position to buy at this year’s cutoff point but may have to do some maneuvering cap-wise if they want to get a deal done.
