Travis Sanheim was drafted 17th overall by the Flyers back in 2014. Since then, he has played exactly 200 games in the NHL. He has collected 19 goals and 51 assists.

He spent the first two seasons after being drafted with the Calgary Hitman of the WHL. Sanheim made his professional debut with the Phantoms at the end of the 2015-16 season.

Now in his third season in the NHL, Sanheim is starting to look like one of the team’s best defensemen. His role has increased as the seasons have gone on, most notably his promotion to the second pairing.

The players above him on this list provide more of an offensive contribution, leaving Sanheim fifth among them. The offense has been slowly developing, though, as he was one goal away from tying his career high.
