I follow all major sports in Philadelphia, but hockey is my clear favorite.  I’ve been a Flyers fan pretty much since 1994, pretty much thanks to Eric Lindros.  When I was little I wrote fan letters to the Flyer almost weekly, asking for autographs, and one of my happiest memories is the time when I got a real signed picture from Big E in the mail, which I still have framed to this day.  As soon as I got a drivers license, my game attendance has gone up significantly.  Starting a year or two before the lockout, I’ve made it a tradition to see the Flyers play the Rangers at MSG.  There is nothing like doing a loud, obnoxious Flyers chant in somebody else’s building.

I started blogging for Fansided/Broad Street Buzz in November of 2009. It’s a fun hobby, and an easy one. Watch my favorite team, then write about whatever the hell I want. Pretty cool.
