Philippe Myers #10
Philippe Myers signed an entry-level contract with Philadelphia following the 2015 training camp as a free agent. Meyers has played in 85 games for the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies since being signed, scoring 65 points, adding 74 penalty minutes, +60 rating winning a QMJHL championship. Myers draft year didn’t go to plan collecting only 8 points in 60 games along with a -14 rating. At 6’5 209 lbs Myers already has NHL size
The 19 year old defenseman was a member of team Canada’s 2017 World Junior roster, playing in 4 games before suffering a concussion in Canada’s final round robin game.
Myers is still in the early stages of development but has one attribute that teams covet; size. He is tall but not yet matured in terms of size and strength. He has shown limited offensive play in his first two seasons of junior hockey but has hints of potential in that area. He is a good skater and fluid for a player his size. He has potential if he can add strength and play a more consistent physical game. (hockeysfuture.com)

Can move the puck rather well out of danger, and also contribute greatly on offense. Owns a very projectable frame. Is an asset on the power play. Defends his position well. Talented offensive defenseman with upside. (thehockeynews.com/The Sports Forecaster)
