NHL 16: Philadelphia Flyers Full Player Ratings

Some Twitch streamers and other gamers got a chance to play EA’s NHL 16 early, and thus one of them uploaded a full video of every player rating in the game. If you love to play the game as the Flyers, we have saved you the time of checking out the video to list every important player here. There are some arguably under/over rated players designated by EA, but they have always underestimated Philly players

Below is a table with projected lines to make reading the player overalls a little easier:

-These lines are not confirmed lines for NHL 16 or on the ACTUAL Flyers’ roster

The video itself (Flyers are at about 3:35):

A few of the Flyers’ top prospects were found in a separate Juniors video. All but one of the Big Five was listed, and the excluded player was Shayne Gostisbehere since he is in his second year of pro eligibility. All the best prospects are listed below, listed with overall and projected talent:

  • Travis Sanheim – 74 Overall – Elite D
  • Ivan Provorov –  72  Overall – Elite D
  • Sam Morin – 70 Overall – Top 4 D
  • Travis Konecny – 62 Overall – Top 9 F
  • Danick Martel – 62 Overall – AHL F

Mason and Neuvirth were listed as 87 and 84 overalls respectively, which is a bit of an outrage for Mason as he was stellar last season (3rd in save %, 7th in goals allowed average).

No AHL players were shown just yet, but I would expect Ghost to be a mid-range 70 overall player to start off. EA updates the ratings as the season goes on, and hopefully a lot of the really good Flyers get bumped up a bit.

So, if you like to play with the Flyers in NHL, you should be excited to know they are a decent team overall- which goes the same for the real Flyers team.

Here is a list of players I haven’t listed already that were included on the Flyers’ roster:

  • Chris VandeVelde – 78 Overall
  • Tim Brent – 77 Overall
  • Chris Porter – 77 Overall
  • Davis Drewiske – 76 Overall

NHL 16 will be released September 15th for PS4 and Xbox one
