Philippe Myers, D – Undrafted Free Agent

It looks like the Flyers hit a home run with this signing last fall. Myers surprised the Flyers in a fall camp to earn a contract, then went on to have a great season in the QMJHL. Playing for the top team in the league with Rouyn-Noranda, the rangy Myers (6’5″) scored 45 points and was +52 in 63 regular season games. He also added 16 more points in 20 playoff games. It was a such a good season for Myers, some have speculated that had the Flyers not signed him and he re-entered this year’s draft, he may have gone as high as the first round.
