The Philadelphia Flyers have had some cool, and not-so-cool, alternate jerseys over the recent years, but which one is the best?

Can you believe we’re already wrapping up on yet another decade of Philadelphia Flyers hockey? I sure can’t. I’m still one of those people who think 2008 was, at most, five years ago. It’s crazy how fast time can fly when you don’t pay attention to it extensively.

Anyways, when it pertains to the Flyers, I think a lot of fans will look back on this decade as a mostly mediocre one. It undoubtedly started great, as the team made a Stanley Cup Finals run and eliminated the Pittsburgh Penguins in a hard-fought, first-round series in 2012. However, Philadelphia hasn’t had any postseason success since, getting bounced out of the opening round in each of the three times they’ve made the playoffs within those last seven years.

Now, I’m not going to look at the best players, teams, or anything of that nature when glancing through this decade. At least not in this piece. Instead, I plan to reminisce on some of the Flyer jerseys over the past ten years. I mean, who doesn’t like to talk about or wear a good-looking uniform? More specifically, I’m about to rank Philadelphia’s alternate uni’s from worst to best during that span, based on my very own opinion.

I’ll preface this article by saying that even though I’ll touch on how the team did while wearing those jerseys, my criteria, for lack of a better term, will have nothing to do with how the Flyers played during that particular season or game. I’m basing my opinions solely off of how I think each jersey appeals to my eye. I’m also not going with the fan-consensus here, as I’ll stay true to how I feel about the thread and not how the majority of the fans may think. With that being said, let’s get right to it, shall we? Here’s a list of the Flyers alternate jerseys from the past decade, ranked from worst to best.
