The Philadelphia Flyers centerman prospect will be in the lineup tonight as the team takes on the Washington Capitals.

Following an embarrassing 5-0 shutout loss at the hands of the New Jersey Devils in their last contest, the Philadelphia Flyers will face off with another Metropolitan Division squad as they travel to the Capital One Arena to play against the Washington Capitals. The Flyers walked away with two points the last time these two sides met, defeating the current Eastern Conference leaders by a score of 3-2 in early January. They obviously look to do more of the same this evening and take a 2-1 season-series lead with a win.

For those who plan on attending this game in person, please be advised that there’s going to be a Frost Warning in Washington D.C. as Morgan Frost is set to make his return to the Flyers lineup. The 20-year-old forward was called up by the team on Friday afternoon, taking the place of Andy Andreoff on the roster, who was sent back to the AHL in a corresponding move. Frost had been performing well with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms since his loan back to the team in December, posting eight points in 14 games. It’ll be interesting to see if Frost can bring the same kind of offensive spark he did in his first stint with Philadelphia or, at the very least, show a little more consistency in the attacking zone.

Unless Head Coach Alain Vigneault opts to change up his lines from Friday’s practice, Frost should find himself centering a line alongside James van Riemsdyk and Tyler Pitlick on the third combo. The potential that JvR and Frost could have offensively is intriguing, so I’m excited to watch what this line can do against a tough opponent in Washington.
