The Philadelphia Flyers will head to New York Islanders to face the Islanders at the Barclays Center.

Fresh off of a 4-1 victory over the Florida Panthers in their previous contest, the Philadelphia Flyers will round out the second half of a back-to-back by taking on the New York Islanders on the road. The Isles took the two previous meetings this season, beating the Flyers by a combined score of 9-6 in those contests. Philly hoped to bounce back from the two losses and avoid the possibility of being swept for the first time in the past ten years.

This Metropolitan Division clash will be a critical one for each side, as it’ll play a significant role in what the Eastern Conference playoff picture will look like with less than two months to go. If Philadelphia can come out on top, it’ll temporarily put them in third place of the Metro and potentially two points behind the Pittsburgh Penguins for second. However, if New York gets the two points, they’ll stay in the third spot and find themselves one point back of the Pens for the division’s silver spot. Pretty big stuff here, folks. Let’s hope the Fly Guys can walk away with their third straight win amid a tough stretch of games.

Flyers vs. Islanders Betting Odds

According to our friends at the Action Network, the Flyers were a +115 on the MoneyLine as of this morning while the Islanders were a -125. This is likely due to how well New York’s played Philadelphia in 2019-20, taking their initial two contests as I mentioned before.
