Hockey players are just like us, they are looking for help with their hockey flows. Flyers forward James van Riemsdyk is one of them. And he got some help recently from Great Clips.

During these unprecedented times, people are taking desperate measures when it comes to their hair. As we’ve seen with hockey players, they too are deciding whether to embrace their flows or take matters into their own hands. Flyers forward James van Riemsdyk recently took the plunge to tame up his flow.

Great Clips, the official hair salon of the NHL, released a #StayHomeHair video on Instagram with the help of JVR and his wife, Lauren. With step by step instructions, Lauren was able to help trim up his hair with no incidents. It sounds like that’s not what happened the last time they tried.

A shame we couldn’t get that Flyers logo in the back of his head, though. That would’ve been quite the sight.

This is just one of many tutorial videos that Great Clips has been a part of. It is part of a larger initiative to spread the word about the Professional Beauty Association’s COVID-19 Relief Fund. The fund helps to support licensed beauty professionals who are out of work or dealing with financial hardships.

The PBA has offered relief funds for these professionals for a long time. They aim to provide members with resources, support, and connections to help grow their careers. The COVID-19 Relief Fund is just another way to support the professionals who are unable to work during this unprecedented time.

So for now, you can be like van Riemsdyk and share your #StayHomeHair. Hopefully, it turns out just as good as his hair did.
