If you’ve ever wanted to experience the Flyers in-arena atmosphere up close, now you will have the chance to do just that.

With all teams playing in either Toronto or Edmonton, it means we will not get the chance to see what each arena puts together for the playoffs. Every team breaks out new ideas to create an in-depth experience. Well the Flyers want to bring that experience to everyone at home.

This marks the first year that no fans will be allowed at games and where the Flyers won’t play any of their games in Philadelphia. That means there will be no pre-game videos or light shows for fans to see. That’s where the Flyers Home Ice comes in.

The program was developed to function together with all game broadcasts. It will bring things such as in-arena content that will feature both the national anthem and reading of the starting lineups. That means fans will be able to hear the iconic Lauren Hart and Lou Nolan before games.

"“There are certain moments Flyers fans experience that are unforgettable: Lou Nolan’s iconic voice announcing the PECO Power Play, Lauren Hart’s passion as she sings our National Anthem, our goal horn and song blaring as 20,000 fans celebrate as one. Flyers Home Ice will deliver these traditions to fans even though the games are happening elsewhere.”"

Aside from pre-game content, the site will also feature access to the team’s goal horn and goal song. The normal Jumbotron stats and antics by Gritty will be featured as well.

Anything that fans could want during a game, they will have access to with this brand new feature.

The pre-game festivities will be available 20 minutes prior to each qualifying round and playoff game. That means starting on Sunday, fans should be able to access this feature on the Flyers website.

It is a way to bring fans closer to the action despite the team being in Toronto. It’s brings the playoff atmosphere that much closer. The Flyers had one of the league’s best home advantages throughout the season. So it was decided to give that exact feel to fans wherever they are watching.
