The pair of Flyers prospects will take part in Hockey Canada’s selection camp before the annual showcase tournament.

Hockey Canada released the list of 46 players that will be traveling to Red Deer to take part in their World Juniors Selection Camp. Out of those players, two Flyers prospects found their names on the list. That was Tyson Foerster and Mason Millman.

The selection camp will run from November 16th-December 13th. The following is how Hockey Canada will be running their closed selection camp.

"“The selection camp will include practices and three intrasquad games, as well as six games against a team of U SPORTS all-stars, between Nov. 28 and Dec. 13 before the team enters the bubble in Edmonton in preparation for the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship.”"

The tournament itself will run from December 25th-January 5th. Canada will kick off their first came on the 26th.

Foerster is the Flyers most recent first round draft pick. He was signed to his entry-level contract on October 14th. He is coming off an impressive season with the Barrie Colts.

He led the team in goals (36), assists (44), and points (80). That was 57 more points than Foerster posted during his rookie season. There was also a 33-point gap between him and his next closest teammate.

Millman was the Flyers fourth round pick in the 2019 NHL Draft. He is still awaiting a contract, but has improved during his two seasons in the OHL.

The defenseman recently completed a second season in which he lead all Saginaw defensemen in goals (13), and points (44). He was fifth overall in points and eighth in goals. Millman took almost a 20-point leap from his rookie season.

Cam York and Bobby Brink recently took part in the USA’s evaluation camp for the World Juniors. At least one Flyers prospect has earned a medal during each of the last eight years.
