There aren’t many questions when it comes to who the Flyers centers will be next season.

The Flyers have 11 forwards currently signed for the NHL roster. That number moves to 12 if Nolan Patrick is healthy and ready to go next season. So each forward spot is potentially taken if every player comes into the season healthy.

The Flyers also have a group of other forwards that will be looking to crack the roster. Looking at just the center position, Morgan Frost is a name that is not on the NHL roster at the moment. He will be fighting to prove that his time in the AHL helped him develop enough to make an impact on the Flyers.

It doesn’t sound as if he is far off from doing so. There were some things that he had to work on with the Phantoms in order to prove to the team that he was ready. That included his play away from the puck and realizing he didn’t have the same time that he had in juniors.

He could force the Flyers to keep him at the NHL level, something they were hoping he would’ve been able to do last season.

Tanner Laczynski, German Rubtsov, David Kase, and Connor Bunnaman are other players who are listed as centers that could see time during the season as well. Laczynski will be making his professional debut while the other three appeared in the NHL this season.

That brings us back to the rest of the group that currently makes out the Flyers center depth. The top two lines have their center determined. It is the bottom two lines that could see different names depending on certain scenarios that may take place during the year.
