A former goaltender for the Flyers is facing up to ten years in prison.
Roman Cechmanek, a former goalie for the Flyers who last played for the team in 2002-03, is battling major legal trouble in his native country Czech Republic.
The court case has been going on for about seven years now, and Cechmanek was scheduled to have a hearing in court later this week however that has been since postponed due to unforeseeable reasons. The court case is expected to continue in December, according to several Czech Republic media outlets.

Cechmanek is currently facing several fraud charges stemming from a real estate debacle almost ten years ago. He is accused of signing several real estate contracts and entered agreements that would entitle the 49-year-old to property benefits despite Cechmanek not having the financials to do so.
