The NHL confirmed Monday night that the Flyers will face the Bruins for a game on Lake Tahoe.
Hello, Lake Tahoe! In an announcement that was widely anticipated to be made by top league executives, the Flyers and Bruins are facing off for a regular season game on Lake Tahoe on February 21st. Puck drop is scheduled to be at 3:00pm EST.
The game will be broadcasted on NBC. Canada fans, you’re in luck. People who are watching from Canada can tune in to Sportsnet to watch the game.
The rink will reportedly be located on the golf course that is adjacent to the lake. It will provide an extremely scenic view of the neighboring Lake Tahoe shoreline.
The golf course has been home to several golf tournament events in the past.
This event will mark the first time a NHL game has been hosted on the grounds of the golf course.

Philadelphia have not played an outdoors game since the iconic 2019 NHL Stadium Series versus the Pittsburgh Penguins that was held at Lincoln Financial Field.
The Bruins have not played an outdoors game since the Winter Classic also in 2019 when they faced the Chicago Blackhawks.
The two teams play each other prior to the outdoor game when the Flyers head to Boston to start a two-game series that is scheduled to start on January 21.
While it is over a month away, it is something fans should look forward to.
It will be a fun game to watch mainly because, obviously, it is an outdoor game that is being held at one of the most scenic locations the United States has to offer.
