Here’s what the reporter did to set Flyers star Jakub Voracek off

Jakub Voracek made things get interesting in the post-game press conference following the Flyers win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday night. During his press conference with Travis Konecny, Voracek was asked a question by Philadelphia Inquirer’s Mike Sielski. His response to the question was one that no one was expecting and included some harsh language being used.

Voracek went on to answer the question and then followed it up with saying “I wasn’t even going to answer your question” before going on to call him a “weasel.”

What did Sielski do to get on Voracek’s bad side?

There could be a few potential reasons. Sielski has always been a critic of Voracek for whatever reason. Here are a few potential tweets that clearly have not sat well with Jakub Voracek, who’s also pretty active on the social media platform as well.

Despite Mike Sielski later saying that this specific Tweet was a “joke”, it did not go well with Voracek and rightfully so.

Sielski went on to make baseless claims that Voracek laughed at Flyers head coach Alain Vigneault’s comments following a game back in 2019. He never went on to provide why, or any evidence, to support that he did laugh at the comments made by the head coach – simply stating that he “just knows”.

Mike, in an interview with Crossing Broad shortly after the ordeal had happened last night, says this specific column was the reason Voracek was upset with him and nobody can really blame him here.

Regardless of the reason, it was still pretty funny. It went viral within minutes on Twitter, and Voracek trended on Twitter in the United States with thousands of tweets posted about him in an hour.

Hopefully soon we will get to hear from Voracek himself on what made him so upset with the reporter.
