Flyers look for quick turnaround Tuesday night versus Sabres
The Flyers are set to take on the Buffalo Sabres for the second and final night in a row at 7:00PM for the last game of the four game home stand to kick off the season.
After suffering the worst home defeat in the Alain Vigneault coaching era at the Wells Fargo Center last night, Philadelphia’s home win streak against the Sabres was snapped. Since 2014, Buffalo was 0-6-1 in Philly, but no more. Buffalo also denied the Flyers their first 3-0 start since 2011.
Tonight’s game can be watched on NBC Sports Philadelphia, streamed on their website and the MyTeamsApp. You can also listen to it on 97.5 The Fanatic.
The Flyers enter the game with a 2-1-0 record, and the Sabres enter the game with a 1-2-0 record.
It’ll definitely be a fun one to watch as the Flyers will look to have better offense and defense in this game which will hopefully lead to a victory before the team heads on the road for the first time this sesaon.

The moose is loose. Brian Elliott starts tonight for their second straight matchup against the Buffalo Sabres. Elliott starts in his first NHL regular season game plus a full 60 minutes since August 6th, 2020. That game came against the Washington where the veteran picked up the win with a 1.00GAA, .941SV% with 17 saves. In his fourth season in Philadelphia, Elliott is starting in his 93rd game for the Flyers.
It should be a fun one to watch. Live updates will be provided on the Broad Street Buzz Twitter account.
