The Philadelphia Flyers revealed their 2021 Rookie Camp schedule and roster on Tuesday afternoon. Camp will begin on September 16th at the Flyers Training Center in Voorhees, New Jersey, according to Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher.

Rookie Camp will consist of two days of on-ice sessions before the Flyers will take on the New York Rangers’ rookie squad in consecutive days at MSG Training Center in Tarrytown, New York on September 18th. The Flyers’ rookies will then return to Voorhees on the 19th to host the Rangers in the second and final scrimmage.

Rookie Camp precedes the Flyers’ annual Training Camp, which will officially begin on September 22nd. That will be made up by the NHL squad along with other minor-leaguers, prospects, and roster hopefuls. It’ll be a chance for those looking to crack the roster to impress the Flyers coaching staff and management.

Fans will not be permitted to watch Rookie Camp, but they will be allowed to attend the team’s main Training Camp beginning September 23rd for the first day of on-ice activities in Voorhees. Masks will be permitted as well as other health and safety protocols to follow closer to the start of main camp.
