Flyers Extend Qualifying Offers to 9 of 12 RFA’s

The Philadelphia Flyers have extended a Qualifying Offer to nine out of twelve total players who are restricted free agents. These offers are not open for acceptance until Wednesday July 13, and were offered to:

  • (F) Jackson Cates
  • (F) Morgan Frost
  • (D)Linus Hogberg
  • (F) Zack MacEwen
  • (F) Owen Tippett
  • (F) Wade Allison
  • (F) Tanner Laczynski
  • (F) Hayden Hodgson
  • (F) Isaac Ratcliffe

The three players who were not given a Qualifying Offer by the Flyers were:

  • (F) Matthew Strome
  • (F) Maksim Sushko
  • (G) Kirill Ustimenko

Hopefully, Philadelphia hockey fans will see all or most of those who Qualified return to play in orange and black for at least the 2022-23 NHL season. Chuck Fletcher and the Flyers have plenty of holes to fill within the team and already seem to be hard at work.
