While all of the NHL roster gas made their way to the Flyers training facility, they will have to wait just a bit longer for the official start of training camp. Until then, the rookies will take the ice for a few days of practice as well as two games against the New York Rangers rookies.

The Flyers rookie camp will span over four days between September 15th and September 18th. The group will only have one practice day before they head out to Allentown to take on the Rangers at the PPL Center, home to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. They will be there for games on the 16th and 17th before returning home for one final practice.

Morning skate on Friday will take place in Voorhees before the team makes their way to Allentown. Tickets are available for both rookie games at the PPL Center and can be purchased by visiting their website.

The on-ice schedule is as follows:

Thursday, September 15th: 10:15-11:30 a.m.

Friday, September 16th: Morning Skate: 10:30 a.m. (Voorhees, NJ)
Rookie Game: 7:05 p.m. (PPL Center – Allentown, PA)

Saturday, September 17th: Morning Skate: 10:30 a.m.
Rookie Game: 5:05 p.m.

Sunday, September 18th: 10:15-11:15 a.m.

26 players players will take the ice for the Flyers over the span of those four days. Alexis Gendron will be the only member of the 2022 draft class to take part in the rookie camp. Standout names feature forwards Tyson Foerster, Zayde Wisdom and Elliot Desnoyers and defenders Ronnie Attard and Egor Zamula.

The Flyers have also invited six players to attend the camp as way. Theo Rochette and Tye McSorely were also invites during development camp in the summer so they have an inside track to earn a contract with the team. That’s exactly how J.R. Avon found himself with a deal last season.

The full roster consists of 13 forwards, 10 defenseman, and three goaltenders.
