Flyers at Kraken, Game 4: Notes, Lineups, And How To Watch
In a road trip that has felt like it’s taking forever, the Flyers have arrived at the final game. The trip ends with a matchup against the Seattle Kraken.
Seattle has split their first four games, alternating losses and wins. They most recently used a four-goal third period to beat the Nashville Predators.
The Flyers are coming off the overtime loss to Edmonton in which they held a 2-0 and 3-2 lead. Matvei Michkov also scored the first two goals of his career.
Philadelphia Flyers
Special teams has been a bright spot for the Flyers. A power play that finished at the bottom of the league last year has four goals in 15 opportunities. Two of them came against the Oilers on Tuesday night.
The penalty kill has been even better, going 12 for 14. They have not given up a traditional 5-on-4 goal. One was a 5-on-3 while the other was a 4-on-3. Both came at the hands of the Flames.
Ivan Fedotov will get another chance in the crease. He looked sharp at times in his first start, but he still showed a clear issue when it came to looking by screens. It’s early in the season so there’s plenty of time. But the Flyers would like to see some improvement.

The Kraken offense has gotten off to a hot start. All but three skaters have registered at least one point in the team’s first four games. Seattle as a whole has scored 13 goals thus far, 14 if you count the shootout winner.
Jordan Eberle is coming off a 17-goal campaign, his lowest since 2020-21 with the Islanders. He’s off to a solid start, leading the team with three goals and four points. Jared McCann is tied in points, while recording two goals. Ryker Evans had 36 career games coming in. He’s matched his goal total (1) and has three points overall.
Joey Daccord has been in net for both of the Kraken’s wins. But it’s expected to be Philipp Grubauer this evening. He has a 2.59 GAA and a .896 SV% in his two games.
