The Flyers will go for their fourth straight victory as they finish off the home stand against the Arizona Coyotes.

These two teams faced off back in December at Mullett Arena. Philadelphia cruised to an easy 4-1 victory, scoring goals in each period. Travis Konecny finished the night with two of those goals, one of which came shorthanded. Joel Farabee and Cam York chipped in with the other goals.

Philadelphia Flyers

Whatever happened during the All-Star break, the Flyers have come out hot. They won their first three games after the week off, and are going for a home stand sweep. And they have taken the first three wins in different ways. They overcame a rough period against the Panthers. They dominated the Jets in the opening period, and hung on for the last two. And they played tough against Kraken in the last game. It doesn't matter how it happens, it just matters what the end result is.

Still, the Flyers want to get out to a good start against the Coyotes. When scoring the first goal, Philadelphia has 21 wins. The Coyotes are toward the bottom of the league when it comes to comeback victories. The same goes for against Philadelphia as they are just below Arizona when it comes to getting a win after trailing. So getting the first goal is important.

The Flyers could be without a player who has been beginning to find his way offensively. Tyson Foerster blocked a shot in the win over the Kraken. He was seen after the game in a walking boot and did not participate in morning skate ahead of tonight's game. His status for the game is currently unknown. Foerster has three goals in his last four games after two goals in 21 games.

Arizona Coyotes

The Coyotes are still one of the bottom 10 teams in the league this season. They are far from the worst and could finish with more points than last season (70). They sit at 50 points with 32 games to go. It's unlikely they will not win at least 10 more games this season. Any sign of improvement would be a good one for Arizona.

They are just outside the top 10 on the power play at 23%. Arizona is almost middle of the pack when it comes to goals against (3.10). They are one of the worst face-off teams (46%) and boast the 21st-ranked penalty kill. So, there are still some areas they need to work on. But they have shown signs of getting better.

Clayton Keller continues to lead his team in all offensive categories. He has 21 goals and 48 points in 50 games. Keller has six points in his last five games and 17 in his last 13. Lawson Crouse is likely to set a new career high in goals. He has 19 goals after posting 24 last season. He only has two goals in his last 10 games, so he would need to pick up the pace just a bit. He needs one more goal to hit 100 for his career.

Karel Vejmelka has had a tough run lately. He has lost his last four starts but did stop all 28 shots he faced in relief against the Golden Knights on Thursday. On the season, he has a 3.33 GAA and a .900 SV%.

Coyotes Projected Lineup

Adam Ruzicka - Alex Kerfoot - Jason Zucker

Logan Cooley - Barrett Hayton - Dylan Guenther
