On Thursday afternoon, the NHL announced their national television broadcasts for the 2024-25 season. The games will be featured on their broadcast partners: TNT, ESPN, and ABC.
With that, the Flyers found themselves with 14 nationally broadcasted games. That is the eighth most in the league and two more than the team had last season. 2023 first-round pick Matvei Michkov may have something to do with that.
Philadelphia will have two games directly on ESPN with six others being shown exclusively on ESPN+. Two of the ESPN+ exclusive games will also be shown on ABC. The other six games will be on TNT, but can also be viewed on truTV and MAX.
Eight of those games will be against Metropolitan opponents. However, they will not face the Blue Jackets or Penguins on national television. The latter not being one of their scheduled games is a bit of a surprise. Four sets of games will be a part of a back-to-back.

The first four were originally scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and have been moved to 7:30 p.m. The final game is now a 12:30 p.m. start. All five games are part of the nationally televised broadcasts, thus a likely reason for their adjusted start times. Change your calendars accordingly for the following five games:
