Jett Luchanko, Oliver Bonk get another chance in Flyers preseason contest versus Bruins

The Flyers are back at it, looking for their second straight preseason win. This time, they’ll take on the Boston Bruins.

The lineup features a large majority of the NHL lineup, but there are some battles still ongoing. Jett Luchanko, who survived another round of cuts yesterday, is getting every opportunity to show that he belongs with the Flyers.

Oliver Bonk is still hanging around and will potentially be paired up with Egor Zamula on the backend.

Rodrigo Abols will get another shot after a less than flattering game in the win of the Islanders. Olle Lycksell and Anthony Richard also have another opportunity to try and claim a depth spot or be one of the extra forwards to start the season.

Flyers Roster

The Flyers will do a little bit of experimenting with their top line tonight. Originally, Travis Konecny was set to play on his off wing with Matvei Michkov on the right side. Instead, it looks like Michkov will be the one playing on his off wing instead.

Luchanko will have another opportunity with two NHL-caliber players on his wings. You can’t say that the Flyers aren’t putting him in every situation to succeed.

The Flyers defense once again rotated pairings during the morning skate, but this is one potential look and something they could go with tonight. A pairing of Hunter McDonald and Rasmus Ristolainen might be an edition of the ‘Bash Brothers.’
