This week’s serving of Philadelphia Flyers news and notes from around the web.

The Philadelphia Flyers had a fairly successful round of back-to-backs following a nine-day All-Star Break, earning three points as they pushed the Pittsburgh Penguins to overtime on the road and defeated the Colorado Avalanche by a score of 6-3 at the Wells Fargo Center. It seems like the bye didn’t affect the Flyers play at home.

Gritty made his presence known during Philadelphia’s win over Colorado on Saturday, dressing up as former Philadelphia Eagles and current Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid, who’s set to coach in Super Bowl 54. More absolute greatness from the furry, orange mascot. (NBC Sports Philadelphia)
