Joel Farabee played in his first NHL regular-season and postseason this past season. How did the young winger do?
Joel Farabee, the 20-year-old winger, made his NHL debut with the Flyers in the 2019-20 season where he played in 52 games. Following a pause in play due to the coronavirus, Farabee returned with the rest of the team to participate in the playoffs.
Playing in 12 playoff games, Farabee scored three goals while earning two assists. With a 14:09 average time on ice, his plus/minus was -2.

You can’t really expect more from the young rookie, especially considering this was his first time participating in the playoffs.
He didn’t do terribly, but there was obviously certainly room for improvement. More goals scored by the winger could’ve been nice and huge assistance for the team who ended up being eliminated – however, it is a realistic amount.
Farabee showcased his subpar skating skills, puck control, and teamwork skills throughout the duration of Philadelphia’s time in the playoffs and it’s pretty safe to say that his future is bright and this most definitely won’t be the first time he appears in the postseason.
Here comes the rating…
The B- rating is fair considering Farabee is still a developing young player, and as always there is room for improvement. While he didn’t do terribly in the playoffs, this was the only fair rating he could receive.
